Chuck will work closely with you on your estate planning needs and provide the personal service that we are famous for at Southwest Missouri Bank. He has over 40 years of estate planning experience and is a graduate of Central Methodist University and the University of Missouri School of Law. He is a former partner at Warten, Fisher, Lee and Brown, a former City Judge of Joplin, and served as City Attorney in Joplin. Chuck is a member of the Southwest Missouri Estate Planning Council and is a member of the Missouri and Jasper County Bar Associations.

Kate provides assistance in estate planning strategies as well as fiduciary services. She is from Carthage and is a graduate of Missouri State University and the University of Arkansas School of Law. Kate has experience in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, and Agricultural Law and was recently named one of Springfield Business Journal’s 2021 Trusted Advisors. She is a member of the Missouri and Jasper County Bar Associations.

Kenneth will work with you to develop a plan to help you reach your financial goals. He has an Economics and Finance Degree from Missouri Southern State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Missouri State University. His experience includes investment and portfolio management and over 20 years of higher education teaching experience.

Blake joined SMB Trust Services in 2011. He earned a degree in Finance from Pensacola Christian College and is a graduate of the ABA Trust School, qualifying as a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA). Blake enjoys working with our clients. His primary role includes assisting with trust and estate administration.

Sarah has been with Southwest Missouri Bank Trust Services since 2015. She received her BS in Chemistry with a Minor in Mathematics from Missouri Southern State University and is a recent graduate of the Cannon Trust School qualifying as a Certified Trust Operations Professional. Sarah coordinates the daily operations of our Trust Services department and manages the flow of financial transactions for our clients.

Donna has been in banking for over 16 years. She attended MSU in Springfield, MO. Donna will often be your first contact with SMB Trust Services. She services and assists with daily operations of the department and directs clients to the appropriate person for assistance.

After years as the head of SMB Trust Services, Doug retired in January of 2021. However, he remains available to consult with the Department. He is a retired attorney with over 40 years’ experience in private practice as a prosecutor and as a trust officer. He is a graduate of Baker University, Kansas State University and Washburn School of Law.
