Take a step back in time with some familiar songs...we will arrive in time for a little shopping at Grand Village Shops before lunch with the singing wait staff at Mel’s hard Luck Diner. Details: Depart Joplin Sam’s Club (SW corner) at 7:30 a.m.; pick up passengers north side of Carthage SMB south location at 7:50 a.m. Approximate return time to Joplin is 6:30 p.m.

A SHEPHERD'S CHRISTMAS STORY RSVP
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2025 | SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS - Branson, MO
We will start our time at Shepherd of the Hills with a tram ride thru the Christmas lights display, so dress in layers. Shepherd of the Hills is proud to bring you our production, “A Shepherd’s Christmas Carol”. We invite you to enjoy a full-course turkey dinner with pumpkin dessert, while we present our version of a true Christmas classic starring your favorite characters from the story, The Shepherd of the Hills. Our tale catches up with Ollie Stewart several years after losing his sweetheart, Sammy Lane, to his childhood friend and rival, Young Matt Matthews. Join us as Mandy Ford, Uncle Ike, and the rest of the neighborhood attempt to include Ollie in their Christmas festivities. Laugh along, as they try to remind an incorrigible Ollie Stewart of the magic of Christmas and the true meaning of friendship. Plenty of friendly fun awaits you in an event that is sure to be on everyone’s Christmas list for years to come. Advance reservations are encouraged and will be accepted for all trips. The sooner your reservation is received the better. All trips have a deadline for payment to be received in Lisa’s office. After the deadline, unpaid tickets will be returned. Confirmation letters, with a full itinerary, will be mailed 4-5 weeks prior to departure date.
