The security of your personal and financial information has always been our top priority. Last year we added the Watermark Image Verification to help combat “phishing” schemes. We will soon be adding another security feature to our online banking program. Here’s how it will help:

Security Question Verification
After you have logged in to SMBonline NetTeller you will be prompted to select and answer three security questions. The answers should be easy for you to remember but hard for anyone else to guess. If we ever need to confirm your identity, your correct answers to these questions will help us verify that it’s you. We will never ask you to provide answers to your security questions by email or on the phone.

These new features provide an extra level of security, allowing you to continue to bank online safely and securely from anywhere!

Sign Up For eStatements-Plus
. . . and you’ll receive your images too!

In a continuing effort to ensure your banking information is safe and also to be more environmentally friendly, SMB is now offering eStatements-Plus. This allows you to receive statements and some notices electronically. The service is free and available to anyone who has a NetTeller Internet banking account.

The statement received electronically is the same as the statement you have been receiving in the mail – plus you’ll now get your images.

To receive this free service, log onto your NetTeller account and click on the tab that says “eStatements-Plus.” The next screen will give you simple instructions on how to sign up for this service.
